Ethnic Folk Dance Performances from around the world are available through
Earth Cultures, one of the projects of Educational Communications, a non-profit
501(c)(3), tax-deductible organization founded in 1958, and dedicated to
improving the quality of life on this planet.
Programs feature dances, songs, costumes and stories along with the history of
the music, dances, cultures, and customs of the areas. Audience interaction is
encouraged for some of the dances.
Shows are generally forty-five minutes to sixty minutes but can range from ten
minutes to over an hour, depending on the event. We are available to schools,
libraries, private parties, assisted living and retirement homes, special festivals,
corporate functions, classes, and other gatherings.
Some of the main programs include:
Irish/Welsh/Scottish, Greek, Polynesian (Hawaiian, Tahitian, Maori), Estonian,
Mexican, German/Austrian/Swiss, American (Country, Cajon, Appalachian, and
other areas), Middle East, Asian (China, Taiwan, Japan, Ugher), Italian,
Romanian, Hungarian, and other countries/areas.
